 M - Methodology

 

Methodology: Science of methods.

Every science has its own characteristic methods the use of which make it into that science. The knowledge and study of these methods is called methodology, and thus tends to be specific to a science.

The general study of the methods of science in general is better called philosophy of science. See: Scientific methods.
