Intention:
What one desires to communicate or to achieve.
Note that what one communicates may be quite other than one desires to
communicate for
all manner of reasons, and that what one in fact brings about may be quite
other than what one wished to bring about, again for all manner of reasons.
This is the main reason why in most things human one must consider the
intention of the speaker or actor, even though that may be difficult to
ascertain and may be much lied about.
Note also that intentions and intensions are not
the same thing.
