 E - Energy

Energy: The ability of any physical system to do work on other physical systems.

There are many types of energy - e.g. thermal, kinetic, potential, chemical and elastic energy - and they are normally not themselves observed, and tend to be measured in some way by what they do. There also are many different ways of measuring.
