Studies in MEdical Sadism - 7: Professor Simon Wessely's many mental issues + P.S.
I have selected part of this thread and put it on my site under the above title, as number 7 in a series. It needs a little tweaking still - my editor has trouble with tables - but is mostly done.
Collectively, it seems to this logical psychologist a strong case for what my title says. It is here
Title: Studies in MEdical Sadism - 7: Professor Simon Wessely's many mental issues
Those who have read all of this thread have read most in my reference - in fact all of it but my comments, intros and outros - that are rather sharp, but quite justified, and if professor Wessely doesn't like it, he can spend money on lawyers. (I don't think he will, and that's due to one of the advantages patients with ME have: internet.)
Thanks to all of you on this thread, and mostly to Orla, who did most of the work.
It seems to me an excellent case that professor Wessely is not well, and has not been well for decades, and that in a properly run health system he would be sectioned or at least sleep under bridge if he hasn't jumped off it after the class-action he so strongly deserves.
P.S. One day later. There now also is

that rams down a perfectly valid logical point or two, followed by an true empirical one.
And I am doing real science, as is Orla: critiqueing po-mos (and others) often say, but I rather speak in these contexts of real rational and empirical scientific criticism, based on relevant knowledge. It's true my subject merits a satirical, sarcastic method, which is what it gets and needs, dialectically speaking also...
O, and thank you very much Orla, for all the fine work you did and the many excellent analyses you made, in your comments to the crap of the Liverpudlian Laputian shrinks.
