- logged OFF: 75 posts in both ' New Posts ' and ' What's New '
- logged ON : 20 posts in both ' New Posts ' and ' What's New '
So this does seem to me to be bugged, and I have seen the numbers when
logged ON vary rapidly, and certainly not conforming to the facts it is
supposed to reflect correctly.
Anyway, I see on the forum there are other problems too, and I can live
with this one, but it is not as it should be, and I have debugged
enough bugs to be fairly confident that I see one when I see symptoms
Re paragraph 2: Clear explanation, but even so I think you should take
it up with Cort, simply to arrange it that administrators from this
site can mail the developers about bugs. There is no reason to slow
down their efforts to repair their software or this forum's sending in
bug reports by what seems a bureaucratic rule. (Thus, Cort could agree
with them that e.g. you and Frank may contect them with bug-reports,
e.g. identified by the IP-numbers of your standard computer, or by some
agreed upon passwords. After all, the people on this forum are ill, and
a little (extra) cooperation of sellers of bugged code seems due, to my
way of thinking. Also, it is in their interest as well to keep their
clients happy and their reputation shiny and bright.)
Meanwhile, we do indeed have to try to keep it going as well as we can,
and no doubt you are doing your best. Thanks.
