Hello four welcomers (so far),
It's getting late the same day locally for me so here are a few brief replies
to show I'm there (or here, or at least capable of replying) and thankful.
Determined: In fact I found out about the forum because of the XMRV-virus. As
to length of disease: I'd be curious to see - anonymous, of course -
statistics for the forum, remembering that I filled out a form that required
that information. As to real help real soon: "I help you hoping" as the Dutch
saying goes, but I fear a rational scientific causal explanation is first
s5044726: Nice to see a Belgian on the forum (and other Europeans), not
because the reason you and I are on it is nice, but because it is interesting
to know how it works out for people with M.E. in other countries. And your
local Wessely is indeed new to me. Do you know what his degree is in?
Kim: Hello, and yes, I like the forum. Also, I'd guess my site is reasonably
well known to people with M.E. in Holland, but I do hold quite a few opinions
about Holland many Dutchmen don't like (and I am not of Thich Nhat Hanh's
school of thought i.a. because most other men including the likes of Wessely
aren't, and because I like to speak the truth and not swath it - but kindness
indeed is a virtue).
What I may write and where I write it depends on quite a few things, and I do
maintain a large site of my own. But as I said: I do like the forum, and it
certainly is a place to learn more. Also, I am pleased by the level of quite a
Denn: Hi, and that is interesting indeed, since you are the first in 32 years
with M.E. and an interest in logic that I learn about. Anything more specific,
also about philosophy? As regards the "high drama": Are you thinking of
XMRV-related things or other matters? In any case, what matters most for me as
regards M.E. is more real scientific research and more real help for patients
and less lies by doctors and psychologists. If it takes high drama to get
that, so be it.
