DSM-5: Medicine is a very sick business in the US

The God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you and is dreadfully provoked: his wrath towards you burns like fire; he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire; he is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in his eyes than the most hateful serpent is in ours.
-- Jonathan Edwards

I have very little for today, having done quite a lot, still feeling better - as far as I can see: No other plausible cause in sight - because of my mb12 protocol, and what little I have is very sickening, for which reason I dug up one of the sickening opinions of the US Protestant theologian, the Reverend Jonathan Edwards, mostly because most of the sickening persons you are about to see - if you want - will probably claim that they are Protestants Christians: I strongly recommend reading Edwards to them since, as Wikipedia has it

Edwards "is widely acknowledged to be America's most important and original philosophical theologian," and one of America's greatest intellectuals.

He is still being read, and all his works are on line, as you may find via the above link to Wikipedia's lemma on him.

Now for my subject, that reached me through The Young Turks aka TYT that has a new website under the link:

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Fined $3 Billion

This shows footage from the beginning of the millenium, when GSK had a large convention assuring sales representatives and medical doctors that greed is good, in effect, and that - applause - members of the audience could become millionairs peddling the drugs of GSK.

TYT has a puke-inducing bit of footage with a very sickening man, and had the footage
from Mother Jones, that did an article about it, that is well worth reading, even if you do not want to vomit:

where there is more footage, with the following warning:

Looking to self-inflict some lasting psychological damage? Watch this video from Advair's Las Vegas product launch on repeat. Alternately, you can fast-forward to minute three, when Advair's product manager, Jim Daly, asks the crowd, "Who wants to be a millionaire?" or minute nine, when Pink Floyd's "Money" plays as CEO J.P. Garnier steps on stage. "There are people in this room who are going to make an ungodly sum of money selling Advair," Daly tells the crowd. "And that's the way it should be."

Greed is good, you see, and ill people are the perfect targets to have their bankaccounts or insurances plundered or what remains of their health destroyed by dangerous drugs they don't need but that their physicians prescribed, because he profits a lot doing that.
GSK promised a yearly turnover - their Holy Grail of
at least a billion dollars, also on the footage - under wild applaus of all the honorable men and women, sales representatives and medical doctors, in their auditorium, all eager to do as GSK told them to, and get rich, at the cost of ill people, but to the great joy of themselves.

Let me end  with another bit of Protestant diagnosis of the folks of GSK:

"Thus those who have defined original sin as "the lack of the original righteousness, which ought to reside in us," although they comprehend in this definition the whole meaning of the term, have still not expressed effectively enough its power and energy. For our nature is not only destitute and empty of good, but so fertile and fruitful of every evil that it cannot be idle. Those who have said that original sin is 'greed' have used an appropriate word, if only it be added - something that most men will by no means concede - that whatever is in man, from the understanding to the will, from the soul even to the flesh, has been defiled and crammed with this greed. Or to put it more briefly, the whole of man is of himself nothing but greed." (John Calvin, Human Corruption, from The Many Faces of Evil - Historical Perspectives, Ed. A. Rory-Oksenberg, p. 121)

What does this have to do with the DSM-5 I mentioned in the title? It gets explained here
I think it very likely that the folks behind GSK and other big pharmaceutical, working in tandem with such conscientious do-gooders as Drs Regier, Creed and Sharpe of the DSM-5, have redesigned the DSM-5 to get as much good out of it as they possibly can, namely by selling the US and world population each year billions of dollars worth of dangerous drugs the patients don't need, but the doctors have prescribed because doing so profits the doctors a lot, while the DSM-5 has been designed to allow psychiatrists to diagnose anything as psychiatric, and get away with, because only they pretend to be capable of understanding the intentionally fraudulent rot that is the DSM-5.

In the US, medicine has been redesigned, by corrupt and dishonest medical doctors themselves, from a moral practice intended to help ill people, to a fraudulent practice with the end of enriching medical doctors and pharmaceutical managers by medical fraud on a scale the world has never seen before.

And in the case of the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-5 the whole diagnostic manual has been intentionally designed so as to make the fraudulent sales of useless, expensive and dangerous drugs as extensive and profitable as possible, and so as to cover this up by carefully crafted pseudoscience designed to defraud patients or their insurances while not being found out.

Corrections, if any are necessary, have to be made later.
