me+ME: Good videos by Llewellyn King: MECFS Alert

"If mankind had wished for what is right, they might have had it long ago. The theory is plain enough; but they are prone to mischief, 'to every good work reprobate.'"
-- Hazlitt + Heidelberger Katechismus (quoted)

Were I, who to my cost already am
One of those strange, prodigious creatures, Man
A spirit free to choose, for my own share,
What case of flesh and blood I pleas'd to wear,
  I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear,
Or anything but that vain animal
Who is so proud of being rational.

-- John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester
(from "A Satire Against Reason and Mankind") (*)

I may intend to write less about ME/CFS in Nederlog, but then again here is some good news:

Mr. Llewellyn King and Ms. Deborah Waroff have started a video-series called MECFS Alert.

Here are the links to the first two:
This is with Mr. King, Ms. Waroff and Dr. Enlander MD, and all of it is quite good and informative, including - in Part 2 - a clear and unequivocal statement by Dr. Enlander that ME/CFS is a physical not a psychiatric disease, and a statement of the therapeutical protocol he applies, and has found effective - which means helpful rather than curing, but then helpful may make a lot of positive difference - based on some 15 years of experimenting: Kutapressin, methyl B12, magnesium, and the methylation cycle, and also that he hopes to get the money to experiment with Ampligen, that does help some patients, but is quite expensive.

This is good news because Mr. King clearly is a journalist with influence and a good mind, and because the videos he made are good and informative, and are much needed amongst the flood of nonsense perpetuated in the media by journalists who have been taken in by psychiatric propagandists, or who have not looked deep enough into the problem of ME/CFS.

And I am thankful that Mr. King has the character, the courage and the means to do this.

P.S.
Corrections, if any are necessary, have to be made later.

Incidentally Mr. King, who sounds British (which I like) but is US based, was born in what was then Rhodesia and is now Zimbabwe, it was pointed out to me.
